Hamilton high school in partial lockdown due to shooting investigation

UPDATE: The hold and secure has been lifted.

Police say a Hamilton high school has been placed under a hold and secure due to an ongoing shooting investigation.

Today (May 9), Hamilton police said that officers are in the Sanford Ave. N. and King St. E. area to investigate the incident.

Police say Cathedral High School has been partially locked down as a precaution.

“More information will be released when available,” police said on social media.
