Hamilton youth now have multiple ways to get vaccinated against COVID-19.

Individuals who are at least 12-years-old at the time of booking can secure an appointment at a large-scale clinic, small-scale clinic, or pop-up clinic by using the province’s online booking portal: ontario.ca/bookvaccine.

Youth appointments can also be booked at local pharmacies: covid-19.ontario.ca/vaccine-locations.

There are also community-based and led mobile clinics targeting specific populations. Location and availability can be found online: hamilton.ca/VaccineBooking.

Those who are 12-and-older will be receiving the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine.

The Hamilton health care partners say 333,862 doses of the COVD-19 vaccine have been distributed as of Thursday (June 3).

More than 64 per cent of adults and over 12 per cent of the city’s youth have received at least one dose.
