Hamilton elementary school evacuated over gas leak fears

Yorkview Elementary School in Hamilton was evacuated by the fire department Wednesday morning over fears of a gas leak.
A Hamilton elementary was cleared by emergency crews Wednesday morning due to concerns over a potential gas leak.
The fire department received reports of a gas smell just after the 8:20 a.m. first bell at Yorkview Elementary School on Cameron Rd. in Dundas — blocks from Dundas Driving Park.
Police confirmed just before 9 a.m. that the school had been evacuated.
