Hamilton driver charged with speeding, licence seized

A 29-year-old man from Hamilton is accused of going more than double the speed limit and charged with speeding Tuesday night.

Hamilton police said the driver was charged with stunt driving on Haldibrook Road in the southwestern part of the city on July 11, just after 8:30 p.m.

Police said the driver was going 128 kilometres per hour in a posted 60 km/hour zone.

His driver’s licence was seized and his vehicle was impounded for 14 days.
