Hamilton construction will cause closures on Wentworth and Charlton for nearly 2 months

The City of Hamilton will be completing resurfacing and curb and sidewalk repairs this summer, closing parts of Charlton Ave East and Wentworth St South until at least the end of August 2021.
Beginning Monday (July 19), all lanes on Charlton between Victoria Ave South and Wentworth will be closed. All lanes on Wentworth between Charlton and Cumberland Ave will also be closed.
During construction, access to Charlton from the Claremont Access will be open in the westbound direction only.
Access to the Wentworth Stairs will be maintained.
Bus routes are not expected to be impacted by the closure.
