Halton’s daily COVID-19 case count falls below 65

Halton Region’s daily COVID-19 case count has fallen below 65 after having been below 100 for more than a week.

Today (May 20), Ontario is reporting 2,400 new cases of COVID-19, 64 of which have been reported in Halton.

Burlington has recorded 23 new cases, Oakville has 20, Milton has 16 and Halton Hills has 5.

A total of 16,321 cases have been resolved in the Halton Region and 221 people have passed away.

There are currently 523 active cases in the region.

According to regional data, there are 5,330 total variant cases in Halton.

A total of 45,406 COVID-19 tests have been completed in Ontario in the last 24 hours.
