Halton’s daily COVID-19 case count falls below 30

Halton Region’s daily COVID-19 case count has fallen below 30 after having been below 100 for more than a week.

Today (May 26), Ontario is reporting 1,095 new cases of COVID-19, 29 of which have been reported in Halton.

Burlington has recorded 10 new cases, Oakville has 10, Milton has 8 and Halton Hills has 1.

A total of 16,787 cases have been resolved in the Halton Region and 224 people have passed away.

There are currently 352 active cases in the region.

According to regional data, there are 5,578 total variant cases in Halton.

A total of 24,008 COVID-19 tests have been completed in Ontario in the last 24 hours.
