There are currently 11 outbreaks of COVID-19 at Halton schools.

An outbreak is declared when the Halton Public Health determines it’s likely a case was passed from one person to another either at school or while on transportation to or from school.

The schools with outbreaks are: Alton Village, Bruce T. Lindley, Escarpment View, Hawthorne Village, Irma Coulson, MM Robinson, River Oaks, Rolling Meadows, St. Gregory the Great, St. Luke and St. Teresa of Calcutta.

All the affected schools are reporting multiple positive cases of COVID-19, with the most being at Irma Coulson Public School in Milton with six.

Once the quarantine period for potentially-exposed students is over, and no new cases are reported, the outbreaks will be declared over and the schools will be removed from the Halton Public Health lists.
