A tentative agreement has been reached Thursday morning (Dec. 8) between the Halton District School Board (HDSB) and the union representing 300 custodial workers at Oakville, Burlington, Milton and Halton Hills schools.

The HDSB announced a new deal has been made with the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) – Halton Local 1011, which represents custodial and maintenance staff in elementary and secondary schools.

The tentative agreement must now be ratified by CUPE Halton Local 1011 members and the HDSB.

Terms of the deal will remain confidential until the ratification process is completed.
