Halton Region reports 23 new cases of COVID-19

Halton Region reports 23 new cases of COVID-19 today (September 15).
According to Halton’s health department, Burlington and Oakville each account for seven of the new cases while Milton has six and Halton Hills three.
In total, there are 176 active cases in the region.
Within the past week, the Halton has conducted approximately 6,100 tests for the virus, with 2.4 per cent of tests resulting in positive cases of COVID-19.
Hospitals in the area are currently experiencing 88 per cent occupancy of acute care beds and 69 per cent occupancy of intensive care unit (ICU) beds.
