Halton Region reporting 75 new COVID-19 cases, 27 in Oakville and Burlington, 19 in Milton, and two in Halton Hills

The Region of Halton is reporting 75 new COVID-19 cases as of Monday (September 27).

Of Monday’s new cases, 27 are in Oakville, 27 are in Burlington, 19 are in Milton, and two are in Halton Hills.

This brings the total for the Region to 19,421 cases. Of these, 142 are still active, while 19,038 have recovered, and 241 have died.

Ontario is reporting 613 new cases on Monday, but no new deaths. With 22,633 tests completed, this brings the positivity rate to 2.71 per cent—only the second time the positivity rate has been over two per cent in the last six days.

Additionally, the Province is reporting another 20,454 vaccinations. As of Monday, 76 per cent of Ontarians have received at least one dose of a vaccine, including 87 per cent of adults, and 82 per cent of adults have been fully immunized.
