Halton Region reporting 25 new COVID-19 cases, 13 in Burlington, six in Milton, four in Oakville, and two in Halton Hills

The Region of Halton is reporting 25 new COVID-19 cases as of Wednesday (September 1).

Of DAY’s new cases, 13 are in Burlington, six are in Milton, four are in Oakville, and two are in Halton Hills.

This brings the total for the Region to 18,762 cases. Of these, 122 are still active, while 18,402 have recovered, and 238 have died.

Ontario is reporting 656 new cases on Wednesday, as well as 13 new deaths. With 27,572 tests completed, this brings the positivity rate to 2.38 per cent.

Additionally, the Province is reporting another 34,703 vaccinations. As of Wednesday, 73 per cent of Ontarians have received at least one dose of a vaccine, including 85 per cent of adults, and 78 per cent of adults have been fully immunized.
