Halton Region reporting 25 new COVID-19 cases, 10 in Burlington, seven in Milton, five in Oakville, and three in Halton Hills

The Region of Halton is reporting 25 new COVID-19 cases as of Tuesday (August 31).

Of Tuesday’s new cases, 10 are in Burlington, seven are in Milton, five are in Oakville, and three are in Halton Hills.

This brings the total for the Region to 18,737 cases. Of these, 119 are still active, while 18,380 have recovered, and 238 have died.

Ontario is reporting 525 new cases on Tuesday, as well as five new deaths. With 19,643 tests completed, this brings the positivity rate to 2.67 per cent.

Additionally, the Province is reporting another 31,176 vaccinations. As of Tuesday, 73 per cent of Ontarians have received at least one dose of a vaccine, including 85 per cent of adults, and 78 per cent of adults have been fully immunized.
