Halton Public Health declares COVID-19 outbreak at Oakville restaurant

Halton Region Public Health has declared a COVID-19 outbreak at a restaurant in Oakville.
According to Public Health, those who dined at Oliver’s Steakhouse Restaurant, located at 141 Lakeshore Rd E, between Mar. 8 and Mar. 13 have been exposed to a COVID-19 variant of concern.
Public Health is currently attempting to contact patrons and is asking that these patrons self-isolate for 14 days following the day they visited the restaurant.
Additionally, these patrons are advised to get tested for COVID-19.
Halton Region Public Health continues to stress the importance of following public health direction and reducing the spread of the virus as variants continue circulating in the community.
