Halton Police to reveal details of ‘most significant drug seizure’ in force history Wednesday in Oakville

Halton Regional Police will be announcing the details of a major drug bust they say has resulted in the “most significant drug seizure” in the force’s history on Wednesday.
The lengthy investigation, dubbed Project Icarus, resulted in the arrest of 12 individuals who are facing more than 40 charges.
Police also seized firearms, cash and motor vehicles as part of the project.
Details of the investigation will be released to media only on Wednesday morning.
