Halton police searching for motorcyclist who fled at high speed in Burlington neighbourhood

Halton Police are asking for the public’s help to find a motorcycle driver who fled from them in Burlington.

On Aug. 10, a Halton officer was patrolling in the Millcroft area of Burlington, as a result of recent traffic complaints.

At around 3 pm, a motorcycle was observed speeding, weaving back and forth and not stopping at a stop sign in the area of Sarazen Dr. and Couples Cres.. The officer attempted to stop the motorcycle, however, the driver sped off at a high rate of speed and fled the area.

The motorcycle is described as a black sport bike with an Ontario licence plate.

The driver of the motorcycle is described as male, white, approximately 20-35 years of age, average height and a stocky build. He was wearing a black helmet, black T-0shirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of the driver is asked to contact A/Sgt. Mark Urie at 905-825-4777, ext. 2391.

Police would also like to remind residents that they can report traffic concerns online via a Road Watch Report which is available on their website.
