Halton police respond to fire in Milton, investigation underway

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) responded to a fire at a commercial property in Milton earlier today (July 21) at approximately 1:15 a.m.

According to police, the fire was in the area of Lower Base Line and Fifth Line.

Fifth Line has since reopened and there are no longer any traffic closures associated with this incident.

Police say no one was injured in the fire and the cause is currently under investigation by the Office of the Fire Marshal.
