Halton police remove hold-and-secure at two Milton elementary schools

A pair of Milton schools were put into a short hold-and-secure after an incident at Anne J. MacArthur Public School the morning of Friday, April 28.

Halton police were called in to investigate a report of a group of youths who were chased into the school by another group of youths.

Police said there was no ongoing risk to staff and students and no injuries were reported.

The hold-and-secure was also lifted from St. Benedict Catholic Elementary school.

The schools are located near the intersection of Farmstead Dr. and McLaughlin Ave. in the Wilmott neighbourhood.
