Halton police need help to find raging Burlington driver

Halton police are looking for a man who may have committed a road-rage assault in Burlington.

On November 11, 2021, at about 2:20 pm, Halton police responded to a report of a road rage incident on Dundas St. west of Walker’s Line.

The victim had been driving westbound on Dundas when he stopped at a red light. The suspect was stopped in his vehicle beside him, and appeared to be on his cell phone. The victim spoke with the suspect and told him to put down the phone.

When the light turned green, the suspect drove in front of the victim and stopped in a live lane of traffic. The suspect got out of his vehicle and approached the victim, who had his car door open and his leg half way out of the vehicle.

The suspect kicked the car door causing it to strike the victim’s leg and dented the door. The suspect returned to his vehicle and fled the area.

The suspect is male, white, late 20s to early 30s, 5-foot-10, 190 to 200 lbs, with black hair and a beard.
