Halton police appeal to public after multiple drive-by shots fired in Oakville

Halton Regional Police investigators are appealing to the public for information regarding multiple overnight drive-bys in Oakville.

At approximately 2:30 a.m. Friday (May 29), police responded to a call of “shots fired”​ on Napier Cres.

“Police attended the area and it was determined that a vehicle had driven by a home on the street and several shots were fired at the residence,” said police in an official statement.

“Approximately an hour later, the vehicle returned and several more shots were fired at the same residence.”

There were no reported injuries and police believe the shooting was targeted.

The suspect vehicle is believed to be a dark hatchback or small SUV.

Halton police are asking members of the public to check “dashcam or home or business surveillance video” from the area of McCraney St, between Trafalgar Rd and Sixth Line between 1:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. Friday.
