Halton is one of just eight regions in Ontario where the fully vaccinated numbers are above 80 per cent, according to provincial data..
Fully-vaccinated in Halton sits at 82 per cent while single doses in the region have hit 87 per cent for residents 12 years old and up.
Joining Halton are: (single dose-fully vaccinated in brackets) Durham (86-80), Huron Perth District (86-80), Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District (93-87), Ottawa (87-81), Region of Waterloo (87-81), Thunder Bay District (89-81) and Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph (85-80).
