The Town of Halton Hills will go to the public to help plan future outdoor ice and recreation programs.

The goal is to come up with with both a short and long-term vision for programs by finding out what outdoor activities residents are most interested in.

Additionally, the study will determine whether more outdoor ice facilities and programs are needed.

The study will also review existing outdoor ice facilities, including potential improvements and operating improvements, potential new facilities, feasibility and costs and impacts of climate change.

The outcome of this project will be to deliver a clear outdoor ice strategy to Town Council that includes budget requirements for new facilities as well as a clear phased implementation strategy.
