The Town of Halton Hills is calling on local professional artists to apply for a mural mentorship program, which will provide the opportunity to paint one of six Bell utility boxes upon completion.

The Art on Bell Boxes Mentorship Program will be led by Yasaman Mehrsa, a Toronto-based multidisciplinary artist who has worked on public art projects such as the Bell Box Murals Project.

Throughout the program, participants will learn how to take their art off the canvas and into the public art landscape.

A maximum of 15 artists will be accepted into the program, which will be conducted in three sessions during the spring of 2022.

Applications are open from now until Mar. 7 at 9:00 a.m. and are subject to a selection process.
