A new exhibition is opening soon at the Sisnett Lobby of Halton Hills’ Cultural Centre just in time for the holidays.

The Annual Holiday Show and Sale, which will open on Dec. 1, will feature work by various local artists and artisans in a variety of media.

The show will offer an opportunity to find gifts for the holiday season to support the town’s local artists.

Selections from the show can be viewed online at Helson Gallery and the exhibition will be open until January 10, 2021.

“I absolutely want to encourage our residents to stay home as much as possible,” said Halton Hills Mayor, Rick Bonnette.

“However, we all want to support local businesses and our local artisans, so my ask to the community is to plan your visit carefully, use curbside or contactless pick up if available, wear a mask, practice physical distancing and purchase that special, one-of-a-kind gift that you can only find here in Town.”

The Cultural Centre is located at 9 Church St. in Halton Hills and is open Mondays from 1:00 pm to 8:30 pm, Tuesdays to Thursdays from 9:30 am to 8:30 pm, Fridays and Saturdays from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm and Sundays from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Residents are reminded that masks and social distancing are required when visiting.
