Halloween drag show set to take place at The Food District in Square One in Mississauga

Do you love drag queens? Halloween? Food?

If so, you might be happy to hear that you can enjoy all three this month at The Food District in Square One in Mississauga. 

Square One recently announced that “Boo-tiful Halloween queens” will be performing at the shopping centre’s Halloween Spectacular drag show.

The show, slated to take place on Saturday, Oct. 29 at 7:00 pm, will feature performances from Vison Drag performers Baby Bel Bel, Naomi Leone, Makayla Couture, Tiffany Boxx, and Miss Bangcock. 

“After a successful Drag Brunch in June, we wanted to add something extra to our Halloween celebrations while continuing to build inclusive spaces. We are hosting the Halloween Spectacular drag event to bring our community of shoppers and the incredible staff who work here closer together while also celebrating pride and inclusivity throughout the year,” said Roseanne Dela Rosa, Marketing Manager, Square One Shopping Centre, in a news release. 

“We’re curating a delightfully frightful and fun-filled evening, partnering with our retailers and restaurants to celebrate Halloween in the best way possible, all while giving back to the community.”

Square One says attendees can partake in snacks, cocktails and mocktails prepared by The Food District restaurants. Participating retailers include Chocollata, Blossom Moments Flowers, Blooming Cotton Candy and more. 

Tickets are $35 and include food and swag bags. 

Proceeds from tickets will be donated to PFLAG Canada Peel Region.
