Gun and Ammo Discovered During Traffic Stop in Mississauga

Police say that guns and ammunition were seized during a traffic stop in Mississauga.
Peel police say that on Sunday, March 31, 2019, officers conducted a traffic stop in the Argentia Road and Winston Churchill Boulevard area.
Police allege that during the traffic stop, officers saw that some marijuana was readily available to the driver, as well as a handgun.
Police say a Taurus G2C 9mm handgun and ammunition were seized.
According to police, 21-year-old Toronto man Jahvar Green was arrested and charged with numerous firearms offences. He appeared in court on April 1 for a bail hearing.
