Guess where in Oakville Adam Sandler is shooting his new Netflix film?

Adam Sandler can’t get enough of Oakville.

Well, at least the newest film the mega Hollywood comedic actor is starring in does.

Sandler has returned to town and Film.ca Cinemas to film an upcoming movie for Netflix.

The local cinema confirmed on Twitter that they had hosted a film production involving Sandler.

Production on the comedy movie adaptation of the Fiona Robinson 2005 children’s novel You Are SO Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah! started June 29 at Film.Ca Cinemas and is expected to run throughout the summer before wrapping up on Aug. 11.

Additional scenes involving Sandler from the Happy Madison and Alloy Entertainment comedy are also being filmed in Mississauga, Milton, Brampton and Toronto.

Netflix has yet to announce any dates for the movie’s release.

The movie will also star his wife Jackie Sandler and the couple’s two daughters, Sunny and Sadie Sandler.

Also starring is Luis Guzmán, who is best known for Boogie Nights and Shameless.

Word of the Hollywood star being in down has local residents hoping for a chance meeting, even encouraging Sandler to come meet them for some “beer” and “pizza.”
