With the Omicron variant ripping through Niagara Region, the Town of Grimsby is offering up Town Hall as a COVID-19 vaccination clinic this Saturday (January 15).

But in an unusual twist these days, there’s no need to book an appointment through the provincial appointment portal. This one is first-come, first-served, a rarity which harkens back to the pre-Omicron days.

“No appointment is required. The clinic will take place this weekend at Town Hall in Grimsby and will administer first, second, and booster doses as per current eligibility guidelines,” said the town in a release.

Residents 29 years old and younger will receive the Pfizer vaccines while those 30 and older will get the Moderna jab.

The clinic will run from 10 am to 6 pm at the town hall, located at 160 Livingston Avenue.
