A Grimsby man is facing multiple charges connected to child pornography after Niagara Police were tipped off by their counterparts in Utah.

The Ogden, Utah police department contacted the local police when they suspected the area man was connected with “the sexual exploitation of children on the internet.”

Throughout an investigation in November, police found enough information to further charge Jason Robert King, 31, of Grimsby with the following:

  • Make Child Pornography
  • Accessing Child Pornography

  • Make Child Pornography Available
  • Fail to Comply with Probation Order
  • Fail to Comply with Prohibition Order Regarding Children

On November 23, King, who is already in custody, was told of the new charges.

His next court appearance is scheduled for February 6th, 2023, via video link to the courthouse in St. Catharines.
