Grimsby man charged after allegations of sexually assaulting a teen

The Niagara Police investigation into the sexual assault of a teenager working at a Lincoln golf course has seen a Grimsby man charged.

The victim, an older teen, reported that she was sexually assaulted while at work in August 2022.

After an investigation, the police identified and then charged a Grimsby man yesterday (May 10).

Tyler J. Porter, 35, has been charged with sexual assault.

He was held in custody and will appear at a video bail hearing at the courthouse in St. Catharines today (May 11).
