Grand opening for Wild Fork’s first Canadian retail store Saturday

Wild Fork will officially open its first Canadian retail store Saturday with a ribbon-cutting and “consumer sampling” event at the new location on Taunton Road.
The company specializes in delivery of its 500-plus premium protein products, from Wagyu beef to lobster to humble chicken wings, and has several retail stores in the USA but the Whitby location at Taunton Gardens plaza is the first retail outlet north of the border.
Mayor Elizabeth Roy will be on hand for the ceremony, along with Wild Fork Canada President Radek Mazurkiewicz and Head of Brand Experience Sherryl Woodward.
The ribbon-cutting will be from 10:30 to 11 a.m., with sampling and various activities planned until 4:30 p.m.
