Grand-opening deals on groceries at Ontario-based chain now open in Brampton

There’s another new grocery store that’s now officially open in Brampton.

The new Nations Fine Foods grocery store in Brampton had its grand opening on Thursday, with special one-day-only discounts and cash voucher prizes for the first 100 customers.

The new Nations store is the second in Peel following the opening of a Mississauga store, and the new location is in the old Leon’s Furniture store building at Kennedy Road South and Steeles Avenue in Brampton.

First opening in Woodbridge in 2012, Nations Fresh Foods has locations across the GTA including a flagship store in Hamilton.

Along with traditional grocery store departments like produce, deli and bakery, some Nations stores also have catering, to-go meals and in-store dining, like its cafeteria buffet in Hamilton and hot bars at the Toronto and Mississauga locations.

Nations also carries international ingredients and cuisines , and while the new Brampton location doesn’t have a buffet hot table like some Nations stores it does offer to-go meals.

The opening of Nations Fine Foods follows a ribbon cutting at the new FreshPro Food Mart in Bampton at the corner of Queen Street East and Airport Road where the old Bed, Bath & Beyond used to be.

FreshPro Food Mart opened in Brampton last month and has a coffee shop, seafood and deli counters, fresh produce, and a mix of international items including Asian, African, South Asian, and Canadian indigents.
