Gourmet burger joint closes in Mississauga

A gourmet burger place in Mississauga has closed.

Big Smoke Burger, which has restaurants in Toronto, Ottawa and the GTA, has closed its Mississauga location.

The Big Smoke Burger location in Square One, 100 City Centre Dr., is closed.

Update: Big Smoke Burger contacted insauga.com on Aug. 4 to say the location’s lease has ended in Square One without an option for renewal.

The restaurant has a variety of gourmet-style burgers, from the Blazing Pineapple served with grilled sweet and spicy pineapple, to the Craft with sautéed mushrooms and house-made rosemary-garlic mayo.

Those looking for a burger fix can still find a Big Smoke Burger location nearby at Sherway Gardens, 25 West Mall, Etobicoke.
