There will be two additional opportunities to get a COVID-19 vaccine in Hamilton later this week.

The distinctive green GO-VAXX vehicle, which is a GO bus that has been adapted into a clinic wheels, will be posted in Hamilton on both Wednesday and Friday. The GO bus has the capacity to deliver up to 200 shots per day. The mobile clinic is fully accessible and will be administering both first and second doses of the Pfizer vaccine.

On Wednesday (Nov. 17), the bus will be at Beasley Park (96 Mary St.) from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

On Friday (Nov. 19), it will be at Compass Community Health (438 Hughson St. N.) from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Each bus can safely hold eight people at a time and no appointments are necessary. Anyone aged 12 and over can walk up while supplies last. Bring your health card or government ID and wear a loose-fitting top so the upper arm is easily accessible.

Everyone should dress for the weather in case there is a lineup, and wear a mask that covers their nose, mouth and chin.
