Passengers travelling on a GO Train from Mississauga got a surprise party with Raptors Superfan Nav Bhatia.

The special Toronto Raptors GO Train left Clarkson station on Friday (Dec. 16) night heading to Union Station in advance of the Raptors home game against the Brooklyn Nets.

Raptors fans got a pre-game party experience with a live DJ. At Clarkson station, host Jedson Tavernier greeted guests and announced they were now onboard the “most exciting Toronto Raptors pre-party,” according to a press release from The Bay.

There was also swag and gift card giveaways to promote The Bay and Raptors’ new streetwear apparel collection.

From Long Branch and Mimco Station fans joined a mini basketball game on the train for a chance to win a piece of clothing from the streetwear collection, a $200 The Bay gift card and tickets to the Raptors’ Sunday home game.

Raptors Superfan and Mississauga resident Nav Bhatia got on at Exhibition Station and kept the ‘party’ going through to Scotiabank Arena, leading a parade of game-ready fans through Union Station to Jurassic Park in time for game tip-off.

Bhatia is working on a new attendance streak after he broke his 26-year run when he couldn’t attend the Raptors’ Dec. 10, 2021 home game against the New York Knicks due to a potential COVID-19 exposure.
