The Ontario government recently partnered with Metrolinx to provide GO bus mobile COVID-19 vaccine clinics which will be providing first and second doses in Milton today.

As a result of the partnership, two GO buses have been converted to ‘GO-VAXX’ busses, meant to target those who have yet to receive their vaccines.

The bus will be at the Gordon Foods, located at 2999 James Snow Pkwy N, today, (Sept. 20) until 9:00 p.m.

No appointments are necessary and anyone ages 12 and over will be eligible to get their first or second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine while the buses are operating and supplies last.

The GO-VAXX buses are currently travelling to malls, festivals, community hubs and events across the Greater Golden Horseshoe Region.

They will operate as fully-functioning vaccine clinics with trained staff as well as the necessary supplies to administer vaccines safely.

Residents are reminded that all safety precautions will be followed on board, such as the required pre-vaccination screening and post-vaccination monitoring.
