A giant book sale returns to Mississauga this month.
The 29th annual Mississauga Symphony Orchestra’s Giant Used Book Sale returns to the Sheridan Centre from Sept. 19 to 22, the orchestra said in a press release.
The sale is a “must-attend event” for all lovers of literature, music and collectables, the release states.
The sale will feature fiction and non-fiction fiction books, vinyl records, DVDs, CDs at $1 each, puzzles, board
games and sheet music.
All items are in excellent condition and sold at “unbeatable” prices, the orchestra said.
The sale is a vital fundraiser for the orchestra. Revenue generated from the sale is used to present and support each concert season, fund the rapidly expanding Mississauga Symphony Youth Orchestra, and assist with projects like fully staged operas.
The sale is at the Sheridan Centre Mall, 2225 Erin Mills Parkway on Thursday, Sept. 19 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday, Sept. 20 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday, Sept. 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and Sunday, Sept. 22 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
On Sunday all items are half-price.
