Get part-time work and stay active this winter at Brampton Recreation job fair

If you’re looking to stay active this winter then the City of Brampton has some paid positions available for part-time work.

Brampton is recruiting for part-time and seasonal positions for the upcoming winter recreation season with work opportunities in skiing, snowboarding, swim and skate instruction, and much more.

Brampton Recreation will be hosting a job fair at the Chinguacousy Park Boat Pavilion​ on Thursday (Sept. 28) from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. for those searching for part-time positions and seasonal winter employment.

You’ll also be able to have a meet-and-greet at the Chinguacousy Park barn to chat with staff, see the animals and learn about the opportunities available as barn attendants.

Roles are available in the following areas:

  • Swim instructors and lifeguards
  • Fitness instructors
  • Seasonal camp leaders
  • Integration and inclusion program instructors
  • Facility attendants
  • Skate instructors
  • Various ski and snow positions
  • Barn attendants

The city says benefits of working for Brampton Recreation include flexible schedules that work around other obligations, paid training, skill development and opportunities to progress and access to discounted memberships.

Every attendee will have the opportunity to learn about paid training options, potential career paths, and next steps in the application process.
