If you plan to enjoy some adult beverages in Caledon this holiday season, then HomeJames can help ensure you have a safe ride home.

A community program providing a free designated driver service, HomeJames Caledon can give impaired drivers a lift in their own vehicles.

The annual ride program will run this year every Friday and Saturday starting on Nov. 17 until Dec. 31 from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., with the exception of Christmas Eve.

The Caledon OPP is encouraging Caledon residents who consume alcohol or drugs during the festive season to use HomeJames as a free and convenient way to get themselves and their vehicles home for the holidays.

The OPP is also launching its annual Festive RIDE (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) campaign on Nov. 16, which will see police out on Ontario roads checking for impaired drivers.

To book a ride or register as a volunteer for HomeJames Caledon call 905-951-9000, visit www.homejames-caledon.ca or download the HomeJames app on your smartphone.
