Get a free Harvey’s burger in Brampton this weekend

Brampton burger fans can share a free meal with a loved one this weekend courtesy of Harvey’s.

The Canadian burger chain has been touring Ontario this summer with the Harvey’s RV, giving away free burgers though its Better Together campaign.

The RV has been on the road since June, and Harvey’s says it’s aiming to give away 100,000 free Better Together Burgers to residents of towns in Ontario, Alberta and Quebec as a way to reunite friends and family who may not have had a chance to socailize during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Now that restrictions are lifted, Harvey’s wants Canadians to celebrate being able to reconnect with friends and family over free burgers,” said Chelsea Kellock, vice president of marketing for Harvey’s Canada.

The Harvey’s RV will visit Brampton this Saturday (Aug. 27) atCreditview Sandalwood Park from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Guests will be able to enjoy the burgers on-site with a loved one, or share a digital coupon to someone they miss so they can claim a free burger of their own.

Harvey’s said it has been helping support Canadians throughout the pandemic, including giving 50 per cent off to all government healthcare workers, frontline workers and their families at all Harvey’s locations during the lockdown in March, 2020.
