A resident from Georgetown is celebrating a big lotto win.

Judith (Judy) Faulhafer just won $100,000 after matching the last six of seven Encore numbers in the exact order in the Sept. 9, 2022 Lotto Max draw.

Faulhafer told OLG she has been a regular lottery player for over 25 years.

“I actually never add Encore – this ticket was a birthday gift from my friends,” she said.

“I called my one friend who gave me the ticket and they thought something was wrong because I was crying. When I told them, they started to cry, too. It was a special moment to share with my friends.”

The mother and grandmother told OLG she immediately knew this windfall would have an incredible impact on her life.

“This win will go a long way for my financial freedom. I will pay bills and treat my wonderful friends to a nice dinner as a thank you for this amazing gift.”

The winning ticket was purchased at Esso on Sykes St. in Meaford.
