Residents who look forward to the Georgetown Farmers’ Market will be happy to know that it will be making a comeback in June.

The market, which was established in 1993, is hosted by the Downtown Georgetown Business Improvement Area (BIA) and showcases Ontario produce as well as locally crafted goods.

This year’s market will operate every Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 beginning on June 4 and will run until October 15, 2022.

Items that residents can expect to find at the market include local seasonal fruit and vegetables, honey, syrup and jams, deli meat items, hand-made botanical soaps and lotions, artisans, flowers and plants.

The market also features talented crafters each week as well as local community groups.

Residents are reminded that friendly family pets are welcome, but must be leashed and kept back from the food and vendors.
