Gas prices to drop significantly in Mississauga, Hamilton and Brampton

Gas prices are expected to drop significantly this week in Mississauga, Hamilton, Brampton and across much of southern Ontario.
The price at the pump has soared this summer to around 170 cents a litre for regular the last few weeks.
Back in April, the price was around 155 cents but that price jumped to over 160.
Then in early August, the price went up again to more than 170 cents a litre and then dropped a bit in late August.
And now as the weather cools but perhaps just in time for some autumn drives, the price is dropping again.
Gas prices are expected to decrease eight cents from 170.9 cents today (Sept. 19) to 162.9 cents Wednesday (Sept. 20), according to according to GasWizard.ca.
Gas Wizard prices are predictions but are based on the 30-plus years of energy industry knowledge from Dan McTeague, former Member of Parliament and current president of Canadians for Affordable Energy, according to the website.
There are, of course, always gas stations that offer lower prices.
