Oakville drivers may want to fill up their gas tanks before Thursday.

Otherwise you’ll be shelling out more cash from your wallet as gas prices are set to rise 2 cents per litre in Oakville.

Dan McTeague, gas price analyst and president of Canadians for Affordable Energy tweeted out Wednesday that prices across the GTA are expected to climb to $1.44.9 a litre.

Drivers in Peterborough will wake up to the largest increase according to Gas Wizard, shelling out a whopping 8.7 cents more per litre though the $1.43.9 per litre price tag will still be lower than Oakville and the rest of the GTA.

Across the province, Peterborough and Ottawa ($1.43.9) will have the cheapest gas prices across the province, while drivers in Thunder Bay ($1.50.9) and Sudbury (148.9) will be paying the most to fill their tanks.

The price for gas in Thunder Bay is staying the same, while it’s going up by four cents in Sudbury.

Vancouver drivers are shelling out the most at the gas pump in Canada. Despite prices being down there down a cent, B.C drivers are paying a steep $1.68.9 per litre price tag.
