Gas prices are set to jump across southern Ontario on Friday.
The price for a regular litre will spike by five cents to $1.699 in many places, including the Greater Toronto Area, according to affordableenergy.ca.
That follows a four-cent increase on Wednesday and then two-cent drop on Thursday in the GTA.
Some places, including Kingston, will see a nine-cent increase come Friday, but that will also bring it to $1.699 for a regular litre.
Premium will also rise by five cents on Friday (nine cents in some places, including Kingston).
That will bring it to $1.999 per litre in many locations.
And the price of diesel will see a huge increase by Friday, ranging from 12 to 17 cents depending on the area, affordableenergy.ca says.
The price for a litre of diesel will then stand at $1.979 to $1.999 depending on where you are in southern Ontario.
