Gas prices are on the rise this weekend for most cities across the GTA and southern Ontario.

After rising by two cents on Saturday (Jan. 14), they’re expected to rise by another two cents to an average of 150.9 cents per litre on Sunday.

“This week’s 11 cent hike is the highest seen since Nov. 28,” said Dan McTeague, president of Canadians for Affordable Energy, on Friday.

Residents who need to fill up on gas this weekend may want to do it sooner than later to avoid paying more at the pump.
