Gas prices are on their way down in Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton, and the rest of Ontario.

Prices decreased by six cents last night and are expected to go down another six cents this Friday.

With the 12-cent decrease over 48 hours, gas prices are expected to reach $1.67 on average in Ontario.

That means motorists are paying 48 cents less for fuel since prices peaked on June 11. Depending on your vehicle’s tank size, you’re looking at paying $25 to $30 less.

There may even be another smaller decrease in gas prices this weekend.

Here are the cheapest gas prices in Mississauga, Brampton, and Hamilton for Thursday:

Esso (7025 Millcreek Dr.)
172.9 cents

Esso (1707 Queen St. East)
171.9 cents

Husky (102 King St. W )
169.7 cents
