Following a tumble in gas prices today, motorists can expect further relief this weekend.
En-Pro, a Canadian energy management firm that forecasts utility costs, says that a drop of four cents a litre at the pumps is anticipated on Saturday (May 23).
Following today’s price reduction, the further decrease will see the average cost at most gas stations in the Greater Toronto Area and southern Ontario fall to $1,79 a litre.
Motorists were already finding some joy today when the prices fell by eight cents.
“Still too high, but this is better than the costs rising,” said one online user commenting on the En-Pro news.
Gas prices continue their volatility based on a mix of global conflicts impacting oil supplies, shifting refinery capacities, and heavy reliance on globally traded commodities
