A frost advisory has been issued for parts of Ontario.  Residents, particularly gardeners and farmers, are being advised to protect vulnerable plants as temperatures are expected to dip Monday night and into Tuesday.

According to Environment Canada, temperatures are expected to dip near the freezing mark overnight into May 20, potentially leading to damage or destruction of sensitive plants and crops during the peak of the growing season.

No frost alerts are currently in place for southern regions such as Mississauga, Brampton, and Hamilton. However, areas within the Halton and Durham regions are under the advisory.
