Patchy frost is forecast tonight into early Tuesday (Oct. 11) morning as temperatures fall to near zero degrees Celsius.

There is a chance that frost may damage some crops in areas.

Environment Canada suggests residents cover up vulnerable plants and trees, especially those in areas prone to frost.

Take preventative measures to protect frost-sensitive plants and trees such as bringing smaller plants indoors, or covering with a plastic sheet if they are too large to bring indoors.
